Argentina's Marco Kremer to Miss Decisive Rugby Championship Clash
Influential Argentinian forward Marco Kremer will miss the decisive Rugby Championship match against South Africa due to a knee injury sustained in the previous game. His absence complicates Argentina’s chances as they need a bonus point win to claim the championship. Multiple changes have been made to the squad for the game.
Marco Kremer, a key figure in Argentina's rugby team, is set to miss this weekend's decisive Rugby Championship match against South Africa because of a knee injury. The injury occurred during last Saturday's narrow victory over the Springboks in Santiago del Estero.
Kremer's absence is a significant setback for Argentina, who need a bonus point win at Mbombela Stadium to overtake South Africa for the championship title. The Springboks currently lead the standings by five points.
Aside from Kremer's omission, backs Ignacio Mendy, Matias Orlando, and Justo Piccardo have also been cut as the squad is trimmed to 28. The revised squad includes Tomas Albornoz, Lautaro Bazan Velez, Gonzalo Bertranou, and several others.
