Sri Lanka Triumphs Over New Zealand in Galle Opener

Rachin Ravindra stood out for the visitors with a fighting innings of 92 runs. Sri Lanka's spinners, Prabath Jayasuriya and Ramesh Mendis, were instrumental in the win, with Jayasuriya taking five wickets for 68 runs and Mendis claiming three for 83 runs.
The second test match is scheduled to begin on Thursday at the same venue in Galle.
