AS Roma CEO Lina Souloukou has resigned amid escalating fan unrest after the firing of manager Daniele De Rossi. The Serie A club confirmed her departure on Sunday.

Following a winless start to the season, a threatening banner targeting Souloukou surfaced, prompting police to assess her security needs. The Greek sports lawyer has faced intense scrutiny since De Rossi's dismissal last Wednesday.

De Rossi, a Roma legend, was sacked after just four games as head coach. Ivan Juric, former Torino manager, will take over as Roma prepares to host Udinese on Sunday. Souloukou, hired in April by the Friedkin family, previously served as CEO of Olympiakos Piraeus.
