The second edition of the Zim Afro T10 commenced with an exhilarating clash between the Durban Wolves and the Jo'Burg Bangla Tigers. An enthralling 12 sixes were hammered in less than 20 overs, with Hazratullah Zazai and Sikandar Raza steering the Tigers to an 8-wicket victory at Harare Sports Club.

The Durban Wolves showed early intent as Sharjeel Khan launched an assault on Luke Wood, amassing ten runs off the first two deliveries. However, Adam Milne retaliated, claiming Will Smeed's wicket for a duck in the subsequent over. Shortly after, Luke Wood and Sikandar Raza curtailed the Wolves' scoring, seizing the pivotal wicket of Sharjeel, who posted 29 runs.

With the introduction of New Zealanders Colin Munro and Mark Chapman, the Wolves aimed to escalate the score, but Munro fell for 10. By the halfway mark, the Wolves were at 47/3. Chapman and Regis Chakabva then attempted to rebuild momentum. Despite a strong effort, Chapman was trapped LBW for 38. Chakabva (13*) and Tinotenda Maposa (11*) chipped in essential runs in the final overs, bringing the Wolves' total to 106/5. Adam Milne's exceptional bowling for the Tigers, with 9 runs conceded and one wicket in his two overs, stood out.

In response, the Jo'Burg Bangla Tigers' Mohammad Shahzad and Hazratullah Zazai initiated their innings with an 8-run start off Mohammad Irfan. Zazai's aggressive batting saw the Tigers quickly reach 36/0 after 3 overs and 50/0 after 4 overs, before Irfan dismissed Zazai for 44. Kusal Perera, batting one-down, launched his innings with a six and maintained the momentum along with Shahzad. Despite Perera's dismissal for 23, skipper Sikandar Raza's quick 10 runs spurred the Tigers closer to their target.

An emphatic six from Raza brought the Tigers to the 100-run milestone, and a subsequent boundary in the 8th over clinched a comprehensive victory for the Jo'Burg Bangla Tigers.
