After thrilling rounds in Chennai and Bangalore, the FMSCI Indian National Rally Sprint Championship 2024 for two-wheelers is set to storm Pune for its third round. The Nanoli Speedway will see a record-breaking 95-plus entries for the West Zone. Competitors will battle in a monsoon sprint rally, vying for qualification for the final round in December, according to a release.
'It's fantastic to see such strong participation,' said FMSCI Vice President Gautam Shantappa. 'With over 95 entries, the competition will be fierce. Top riders from across the nation are ready to set the trail ablaze in Pune. This growth is a great sign for the sport.'
Suhail Ahmad, who impressed with multiple victories in Chennai and notable finishes in Bangalore, will compete against the backdrop of the Sahyadri mountains and Indrayani River, aiming to beat his previous times. Other prominent West Zone riders include Badal Doshi, Amarendra Sathe, Pinkesh Thakkar, and Rajesh N Swami, who will vie for a spot in the finals. The third round in Pune is part of a series unfolding across India, leading to the finals in Pune or Bangalore in December.
