Indian tennis players Vijay Sundar Prashanth and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan secured a hard-fought victory against second seeds Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool in the Hangzhou Open quarterfinals.
After losing the opening set, Prashanth and Nedunchezhiyan made a strong comeback to win 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 10-8 in an intense, two-hour match. They will next face third seeds Ariel Behar and Robert Galloway.
Meanwhile, Yuki Bhambri advanced to the Chengdu Open semifinals with partner Albano Olivetti, overcoming Gonzalo Escobar and Diego Hidalgo 5-7, 6-3, 12-10. In the next round, they face second seeds Ivand Dodig and Rafael Matos.
