Jude Bellingham and Aurélien Tchouaméni will be back in action for Real Madrid's Champions League opener, head coach Carlo Ancelotti announced on Monday. The midfielders missed the Spanish league game this weekend.
Ancelotti also confirmed that central defender Éder Militão, who skipped practice on Monday, will be fit for Tuesday's match against Stuttgart at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
'Bellingham is fine, just like Tchouaméni and Militão, who didn't train today,' Ancelotti stated. Bellingham has been nursing a foot injury since Madrid's league opener in August, while Tchouaméni missed the recent 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad due to a similar issue.
Militão, who played against Sociedad, had individual training to recover from a knee ailment but will be ready for the Champions League fixture. Forward Brahim Díaz, however, remains sidelined due to a right leg muscle injury.
Madrid, who clinched their record-extending 15th European title last season, will feature new signing, France star Kylian Mbappé, expected to start in the upcoming match.
