Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh emerged victorious in their respective groups to secure spots in the semi-finals of the Sub-Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2024-25 Tier 2. Andhra Pradesh, dominating Group A, crushed Andaman and Nicobar 6-2, showcasing a stellar performance by Gundigi Jyoshnavi, who netted four goals. With this victory, Andhra Pradesh wrapped up their group stage with nine points.

In Group C, Madhya Pradesh delivered a commanding 6-0 win against Uttar Pradesh. Neelam Pusam's hat-trick, complemented by goals from Ambika Dhurwey and a brace from Manvi, propelled Madhya Pradesh to the top of their group, setting the stage for a semi-final match against Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

Other notable performances included Tripura's 8-0 win over Pondicherry in a Group A match, with Breejia Debbarma scoring a hat-trick. Sikkim also concluded their campaign with a 4-1 victory over Uttarakhand in Group C, thanks to Abhista Basnett's four-goal haul. The next round of matches continues on Friday, September 13, with Kerala facing Chandigarh and Goa clashing with Jammu and Kashmir in Group B, while Telangana takes on Rajasthan in Group D.
