Defending champions India continued their unbeaten run in the Asian Champions Trophy, clinching a 3-1 victory against South Korea at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir, China, on Thursday. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh led from the front with a brace, while Araijeet Singh Hundal provided an early lead.

India, having already secured a semi-final spot, showcased their winning intent early in the penultimate league-stage match. Araijeet Singh Hundal's 8th-minute goal, set up by a precise cross from Vivek Sagar Prasad, gave India a swift 1-0 lead. Skipper Harmanpreet extended this lead to 2-0 just a minute later, marking his 200th international goal from a penalty corner.

Korea, fresh off a 3-2 victory over China and holding the second spot on the points table, fought back with tactical defense and quick counterattacks. Jihun Yang's penalty corner in the 30th minute narrowed the gap to 2-1. Despite Korea's resilience, Harmanpreet's powerful drag-flick in the third quarter sealed India's 3-1 lead, with the Indian defense remaining firm. India's goalkeepers, Krishan Pathak and Suraj Karkera, thwarted Korea's efforts to bounce back.
