Day 7 of the 4th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship, hosted at the Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium in Pune, showcased powerful performances from several teams. The Services Sports Control Board, Food Corporation of India, Central Reserve Police Force, and Comptroller & Auditor General of India all secured crucial victories in their respective matches.

In a dominant Pool C performance, the Services Sports Control Board routed Tamil Nadu Police 6-0. The triumphant team effort saw goals from Pratap Shinde (4'), Sunil Xaxa (13'), Harman Singh (23'), Waribam Nirajkumar Singh (29'), Sushil Dhanwar (37'), and Cyril Lagun (54').

Another Pool C clash witnessed the Food Corporation of India overpowering Sahashtra Seema Bal with a 7-0 scoreline. Laishram Dipu Singh led the charge with a hat-trick, netting goals at 1', 40', and 55'. Contributions also came from Kerobin Lakra (12', 33'), Deepak (19'), and Boby Singh Dhami (52'). In a closely contested match, the Central Reserve Police Force edged out the Central Industrial Security Force 4-3. Kuldeep Ekka (19'), Mohd. Wasiullah Khan (27'), Sharnjeet Singh (52'), and Jashandeep Singh (41') scored for Central Reserve Police, while Yograj Singh (25'), Vishaljit Singh (32'), and Dheeraj Vats (51') were on the score sheet for their opponents.

The final match of the day saw the Comptroller & Auditor General of India defeat Punjab National Bank 2-1. Despite Satendar Kumar scoring first for Punjab National Bank at the 19-minute mark, Abharan (35') and Chandan Singh (47') ensured a comeback victory. This day concluded the group phase, cementing the matchups for the quarter-finals. Defending champions Petroleum Sports Promotion Board will face Steel Plant Sports Board. Comptroller & Auditor General of India will go head-to-head with Services Sports Control Board. The Sports Authority of India will meet Railway Sports Promotion Board, while Food Corporation of India clashes with Punjab National Bank in the quarter-finals.
