Punjab FC, the sole representative from north India in the top-tier Indian Super League, announced their 26-member squad for the upcoming season on Wednesday.

The team also unveiled their home, away, and third kits during an event. The Shers will kick off their ISL campaign against Kerala Blasters in Kochi on September 15, with their first home game scheduled for September 20 at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis has crafted a squad blending youth and experience. The foreign recruits include Luka Majcen, Mushaga Bakenga, Ezequiel Vidal, Ivan Novoselec, Asmir Suljic, and Filip Mrzljak. Indian signings feature Vinit Rai, Ninthoinganba Meetei, Muheet Shabir, Nihal Sudeesh (on loan), and Likmabam Rakesh Singh (on loan). Promotions from the academy include Mohammed Suhail F. and Shami Singamayum, who join Tekcham Abhishek Singh, Manglenthang Kipgen, and Ayush Deshwal.

Coach Dilmperis stated, "We have named a squad that can challenge for the top spots in the league this season. The foreign signings bring plenty of experience, and we have an exciting pool of Indian players. We have also maintained the core of our Indian players from last season. Our pre-season has been good, and we aim to start our season well and perform to our best capacity." Dilmperis will be supported by deputies Konstantinos Katsaras and Sankarlal Chakraborty, strength and conditioning coach Papaioannou Ioannis, and goalkeeping coach Manish Timsina.
