Dutch striker Memphis Depay has inked a two-year contract with Corinthians following his exit from Atletico Madrid as a free agent in July. The Brazilian club revealed the signing on Monday, though financial terms were not disclosed. Local media estimated the contract's value at 70 million Brazilian real ($12.54 million).

At age 30, Depay boasts an impressive record, having netted 46 goals in 98 appearances for the Netherlands. However, he was not included in the squad for this month's Nations League fixtures. Despite his absence, Ronald Koeman's team triumphed 5-2 against Bosnia on Saturday and are set to take on Germany on Tuesday.

Depay's career began at PSV Eindhoven and saw successful stints with Olympique Lyon, Barcelona, and Manchester United. His last tenure was with Atletico Madrid, where he featured in 31 matches in all competitions and scored nine goals. ($1 = 5.5833 reais)
