Neuville Triumphs at Acropolis Rally, Extends Championship Lead

Thierry Neuville of Hyundai won the Acropolis Rally, extending his lead in the World Rally Championship to 34 points. The victory came after title rival Sebastien Ogier's Toyota rolled over during the final stage in Greece.

Neuville's Spanish teammate Dani Sordo secured second place, while Ott Tanak took third, ensuring a podium lockout for Hyundai. With the win, Hyundai also increased their lead over Toyota in the manufacturer standings to 35 points, with three rounds left in the season.

Neuville had a substantial lead of over a minute entering the final stage, making it his second victory of the season after Monte Carlo in January. Meanwhile, Ogier, who led the rally on Friday, saw his hopes dashed after misjudging a corner and rolling his car. Despite the incident, Ogier's team managed to finish and secure 13 points.
