Captain Harmanpreet Singh lauded the team for maintaining a clean sheet and hailed the performances of new players, highlighting their skills and potential. Despite a few early threats from China, India gained control and remained alert, clinching victory with steady pressure and relentless attacks.
India now sets sights on their next match against Japan on Monday. Meanwhile, other fixtures saw Malaysia draw 2-2 with Pakistan, and Japan hold Korea to a thrilling 5-5 draw.
