India's Canoeists Strive Despite Challenges at Paris Paralympics
India’s Prachi Yadav finished eighth in the women's VL2 200m canoe final at the Paris Paralympics, clocking 1:08.55. Emma Wiggs of Great Britain won gold. Yash Kumar failed to progress in the men's KL1 200m event. Prachi had earlier finished third in the semi-finals to qualify for the final.

India's Prachi Yadav finished eighth in the final of the women's VL2 200m canoe event at the Paris Paralympics, recording a time of 1:08.55.
Emma Wiggs of Great Britain secured the gold medal with a time of 58.88 seconds, while Canada's Brianna Hennessy and Australia's Susan Seipel took the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Earlier, Prachi qualified for the final by finishing third in her semi-final, clocking 1:05.66 behind Irodakhon Rustamova of Uzbekistan and Jeanette Chippington of Great Britain.
