Paris Paralympics bronze medallist Rubina Francis is drawing motivation from her recent success. The Indian para-shooter finished third in the P2 women's 10M air pistol SH-1 final.

Rubina shared her thoughts with ANI, expressing, "I will take the responsibility that has come with this medal as motivation. My journey over eight years includes both challenges and triumphs, supported by a dedicated team. Meeting PM Narendra Modi for the third time is as exciting as the first." Meanwhile, Manish Narwal, who secured a silver medal in the men's 10m air pistol SH1 final, spoke about the pressure of meeting expectations.

"There was pressure this time to maintain my previous performance and stand up to everyone's expectations. The competition is getting tougher by the day," Manish told ANI. Despite initial setbacks, Manish finished strong, securing the second spot with 234.9 points.

Manish's mother, Santosh Narwal, thanked everyone for their support during his campaign. "I thank everyone for supporting him. He won the silver medal for the nation. I am feeling very happy and proud," she said. His father, Dilbagh Narwal, echoed her sentiments, adding, "I am feeling very proud that my son has won the silver medal for the nation. The entire nation supported him a lot." India's medal tally at the ongoing Paralympics has reached 27, including six golds, nine silvers, and 12 bronzes.
