India's Para-Cyclists Face Challenges at Paris Paralympics
Indian para-cyclists Arshad Shaik and Jyoti Gaderiya concluded their Paris Paralympics journey without medals, finishing the men's and women's road race C1-3 events a lap behind the leaders. In the women's race, Jyoti finished 15th, while Arshad placed 28th in the men's race. Both faced challenges in earlier events.

India's para-cyclists Arshad Shaik and Jyoti Gaderiya concluded their Paris Paralympics journey without any medals, falling a lap behind the leaders in the men's and women's road race C1-3 events on Saturday.
Jyoti Gaderiya finished 15th in the women's race, one lap down. Japan's Keiko Sugiura clinched the gold, with Flurina Rigling of Switzerland taking silver and Clara Brown of the United States securing bronze.
In the men's competition, Arshad Shaik came in 28th, also a lap behind. Great Britain's Finlay Graham claimed gold, while French cyclists Thomas Peyroton-Dartet and Alexandre Léauté took silver and bronze, respectively.
Earlier, both Jyoti and Shaik struggled in the road time trial C2 event, finishing 16th and 11th. Their track cycling attempts also fell short, with Jyoti placing 11th and 10th in the C1-3 time trial and pursuit qualifiers, while Shaik finished 17th and 9th in the respective events.
