Shourya Saini scripted a World Deaf Championship record with a score of 452.4, securing gold in the men's 50m Rifle 3-Positions event on Friday.

Achieving a qualification score of 580, Saini made it to the final. This victory marked his second medal of the competition, having already earned silver in the men's 10m Air Rifle event.

Meanwhile, Kushagra Singh finished fourth in the final, and Chetan Hanmant Sapkal won bronze in the men's 25m Rapid-fire pistol with a score of 534. Sapkal's effort brought India's total medal count to 17, comprising five gold, seven silver, and five bronze medals.
