Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira is set to race for the Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team for the 2025-26 seasons, as officially announced on Thursday by the Japanese manufacturer Yamaha.

The 29-year-old Oliveira, who transitions from the American Trackhouse team, boasts a remarkable record with five MotoGP wins and seven podium finishes while riding for KTM. Yamaha's Lin Jarvis highlighted Oliveira's technical know-how, experience, speed, and precision as key attributes that will enhance the performance of their Yamaha YZR-M1.

Pramac are leading the championship with Spaniard Jorge Martin but will conclude a 20-year partnership with Ducati to become Yamaha's first satellite team since 2022. Notably, Martin will be moving to Aprilia next year.
