Displaying extraordinary resilience, Harvinder overturned a 1-3 deficit to prevail over Mohammad Reza Arab Ameri of Iran with a score of 7-3 in the semifinals. His victory guarantees him an unprecedented second successive medal at the Paralympic Games.
Harvinder's journey included a series of impressive victories: he defeated world number nine Hector Julio Ramirez of Colombia in the quarterfinals, ousted Tseng Lung-Hui of Chinese Taipei in the round of 32, and overcame Setiawan Setiawan of Indonesia in the last-16 round despite an early setback.
