Pranjali Dhumal clinched a bronze medal in the Women's 25m Pistol event at the World Deaf Shooting Championship held in Hanover, Germany on Tuesday.

Dhumal set both a deaf world record and a championship record by scoring 571 points to qualify for the finals.

In a gripping finale, Dhumal secured the bronze by hitting three out of five shots in the eighth series, narrowly beating Croatia's Lana Skeledzija by one point with a final score of 29. Ukrainian shooters Sofiia Olenych and Halyna Mosina won gold and silver, respectively.

Other Indian participants included Anuya Prasad, who finished fifth in the finals with 21 points after qualifying with 558 points, and Vedika Sharma, who scored 473 in the qualification round. India's medal tally at the tournament now stands at three golds, six silvers, and four bronzes.
