India's world champion Deepthi Jeevanji clinched a bronze medal in the women's 400m T20 category at the Paris Paralympics on Tuesday, clocking a time of 55.82 seconds.

Deepthi, who is set to celebrate her 21st birthday later this month, finished the race behind two formidable athletes: Yuliia Shuliar of Ukraine, who posted 55.16 seconds, and world record holder Aysel Onder of Turkey, with 55.23 seconds.
