Brendon McCullum, England's test head coach, will also take charge of their white-ball teams starting January next year. He will replace Matthew Mott, who resigned after England's T20 World Cup semi-final exit against India. The announcement was made by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Brendon McCullum, currently England's test head coach, has been named the head coach for their white-ball teams starting January of the coming year, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old McCullum, who once captained New Zealand, will be stepping in to replace Matthew Mott. Mott resigned from his position following England's T20 World Cup semi-final exit against eventual champions India last June.
McCullum's dual role aims to bring a coherent strategic direction to England's cricket teams as they prepare for upcoming international challenges.
