Gary Kirsten, Pakistan's white-ball head coach, is set to oversee the domestic Champions Cup. This competition will feature all contracted players, who have been asked to participate as part of their preparation.

Joining Kirsten, physiotherapist Cliff Deacon and strength coach Dreks Simon will monitor player performance and fitness ahead of the upcoming white-ball matches. Their assessment will be crucial for Pakistan's readiness this season.

The trio will also conduct fitness evaluations for the national Test squad and other international players. Meanwhile, red-ball format head coach Jason Gillispie and high-performance coach Tim Nielsen will return to Australia following their series against Bangladesh, which ended in a disappointing 0-2 defeat for the home side. The Pakistan team will next face England in the World Test Championship series starting October 7 in Multan, for which Gillispie and Nielsen will come back to Pakistan.

Despite recent defeats, no significant changes are expected in the team. Gillespie and Kirsten have been granted full executive authority by the Pakistan Cricket Board to maintain selection consistency and other team matters.

'Both have advised the PCB to exercise patience and avoid making hasty decisions based on the team's current form,' said a source close to the team.
