Indian para-shuttler Suhas Yathiraj settled for another silver medal at the Paris Paralympics, mirroring his performance at Tokyo three years prior. Competing in the men's singles SL4 category, Suhas fell to France's Lucas Mazur in straight sets, losing 9-21, 13-21.

The opening set saw Suhas unable to match Mazur's intensity, falling short. He attempted a comeback in the second set, but it wasn't enough, resulting in a silver medal finish. Meanwhile, compatriot Sukant Kadam missed out on a bronze in the same event after a straight-sets loss to Indonesia's Fredy Setiawan, with scores of 17-21, 18-21.

In the women's singles SU5 category, para-shuttlers Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass brought home silver and bronze, respectively. Murugesan lost to China's Yang Qiu Xia 21-17, 21-10, while Ramadass dominated Denmark's Cathrine Rosengren 21-12, 21-8. On a brighter note, Nitesh Kumar clinched gold by defeating Great Britain's Daniel Bethell in a thrilling three-set match, 21-14, 18-21, 23-21, adding another gold to India's tally after Avani Lekhra's victory in the women's 10m air rifle.
