Indian golfer Saptak Talwar secured his best result on the Asian Tour by finishing tied sixth at the USD 500,000 Mandiri Indonesia Open, shooting a final round of 4-under 68.
Talwar, who had two late bogeys, completed the tournament with a total score of 12-under 272. His rounds of 69-67-68-68 marked his first Top-10 finish on the Asian Tour.
Meanwhile, England's Steve Lewton claimed his second title on the Asian Tour, ending a 10-year drought with a win in a sudden-death play-off against third-round leader Aaron Wilkin from Australia and Chinese rookie Sampson Zheng. Lewton and Zheng both finished at 16-under after shooting 68s, while Wilkin shot 69.
