Lewis Hamilton topped the final free practice for the Italian Grand Prix on Saturday, marking a dominant display for Mercedes with teammate George Russell securing second place.

The seven-time world champion, who led Friday's second practice and has a chance to claim a record sixth win at Monza on Sunday, clocked in at one minute 20.117 seconds, with Russell just 0.093 seconds behind.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc captured third while McLaren's Oscar Piastri finished fourth. Red Bull's leader in the standings, Max Verstappen, battled with grip issues and ended up sixth. Lando Norris clinched fifth for McLaren, followed by Carlos Sainz in seventh and the Williams duo of Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto in eighth and ninth respectively. Nico Hulkenberg of Haas rounded out the top ten.
