Shubhankar Sharma Advances to Weekend Rounds at British Masters

Shubhankar Sharma, a two-time winner on the DP World Tour, has successfully advanced to the weekend rounds at the British Masters. Despite closing with a bogey on Day 2, Sharma managed an even-par 72, following his opening round of 1-under 71, placing him tied-37 after 36 holes.

Unfortunately, fellow Indian golfer Om Prakash was unable to make the cut after a challenging second round where he shot an 83, adding to his first round of 71.

Tyrrell Hatton of England leads the tournament at the halfway stage with a one-shot advantage after carding a remarkable seven-under 65 in his second round, setting his total at 10-under par. Notably, Hatton is being closely followed by Jorge Campillo of Spain, Jeong weon Ko of France, and South African Brandon Stone, who posted a brilliant round of 64.
