AC Milan Signs Tammy Abraham on Loan from AS Roma
AC Milan has acquired English striker Tammy Abraham on a one-year loan from AS Roma. Abraham's initial success at Roma was highlighted by 27 goals and a Conference League win. However, injuries and competition have affected his recent performances.
AC Milan has officially signed English striker Tammy Abraham on a year-long loan deal from AS Roma, as confirmed by both Serie A clubs on Friday.
Abraham made an explosive start to his Roma career after joining from Chelsea in 2021, where he netted 27 goals in his debut season and played a pivotal role in their Conference League victory.
However, his form waned in subsequent seasons, compounded by an anterior cruciate ligament tear that limited his appearances during the 2023-24 campaign. This season, the 26-year-old has found himself further down the selection hierarchy following Roma's acquisition of Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk, who led Spain's LaLiga in scoring last season with 24 goals.
