New Faces in England Football Squad as Carsley Takes the Helm

England's interim manager Lee Carsley, recently appointed following Gareth Southgate's resignation post-European Championship, has unveiled his first squad. Newcomers Angel Gomes, Tino Livramento, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Noni Madueke have been included.

Notable omissions from the squad are defender Kyle Walker, left-back Luke Shaw, and midfielder Jude Bellingham, who are absent due to injury. Striker Ivan Toney and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale have also been left out, but forward Jack Grealish and center-back Harry Maguire have been recalled.

Earlier in the day, Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier announced his retirement from international football. England is set to face Ireland in Dublin on September 7, followed by a match against Finland at Wembley three days later as part of the Nations League.
