The CM stated that silver medalists will receive Rs 2 crore, while bronze winners will be awarded Rs 1 crore, demonstrating the state's commitment to fostering sporting excellence. The announcement was made during the State Sports Awards ceremony at the Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.

During the event, 502 athletes were honored with a collective prize of Rs 1.36 crore. Chief Minister Sai emphasized the government's dedication to developing sports talents by investing in infrastructure and training programs, including new sports complexes and academies.
