Kepa Arrizabalaga, who holds the title of the world's most expensive goalkeeper, has taken a season-long loan to English Premier League rival Bournemouth, Chelsea confirmed on Thursday.
Before finalizing the loan, the 29-year-old Spaniard inked a one-year contract extension with Chelsea.
Having completed a loan spell with Real Madrid last season, Arrizabalaga has accumulated 163 appearances across five seasons at Chelsea but currently finds himself behind Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen in the hierarchy.
