Kepa Arrizabalaga Loaned to Bournemouth Following Contract Extension

Kepa Arrizabalaga, the world's most expensive goalkeeper, has been loaned to Bournemouth for the season. Prior to his departure, he extended his contract with Chelsea for another year. Arrizabalaga spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and has made 163 appearances for Chelsea in five seasons, but now sits behind Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen in the team's lineup.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, who holds the title of the world's most expensive goalkeeper, has taken a season-long loan to English Premier League rival Bournemouth, Chelsea confirmed on Thursday.

Before finalizing the loan, the 29-year-old Spaniard inked a one-year contract extension with Chelsea.

Having completed a loan spell with Real Madrid last season, Arrizabalaga has accumulated 163 appearances across five seasons at Chelsea but currently finds himself behind Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen in the hierarchy.
