Real Madrid and Brazil forward Vinicius Jr is open to a potential offer exceeding one billion euros from Saudi Arabia, sources close to the player informed Reuters on Monday.

According to these sources, Vinicius, 24, was approached by Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) officials about possibly moving to the Saudi Pro League on a five-year contract valued at around 200 million euros per season, excluding bonuses. An additional 10-year contract to serve as an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia is also on the table, although the specific terms and financial aspects of this have yet to be finalized.

Though a formal offer has yet to materialize, Vinicius has not ruled out the possibility and has allowed PIF officials to discuss the matter further with Real Madrid. Despite his contentment in Madrid, Vinicius and his representatives consider such a lucrative offer worth careful consideration. Another source emphasized that Real Madrid is not inclined to negotiate, highlighting the player's one-billion-euro buy-out clause. Real Madrid and PIF didn't comment on the matter.
