Adrian Luna, the star striker of Kerala Blasters, is determined to break the team's winless streak in India's major domestic football tournaments. His ambition is to be the first KBFC captain to lift a trophy, a journey fueled by personal and professional milestones.

In an interview with ANI, Luna reflected on his time with the club, sharing memorable moments and his significant role in integrating new talent. 'My personal goal is to get the trophy for the club because the people and fans are all waiting for this moment,' he stated.

Luna's journey with Kerala Blasters began spectacularly in the 2021-2022 season, scoring six goals and reaching the Indian Super League (ISL) final. 'Reaching the final in my debut season was incredible. It was tough to lose the final, but that season remains one of my favorites,' he said.

Named captain last season, Luna recalls scoring a goal in his second ISL season's first match, following the tragic loss of his six-year-old daughter. 'Scoring that goal was an emotional moment, one of my best memories with Kerala Blasters,' he shared.

With several new players joining the team this season, Luna emphasized the importance of team chemistry. 'Our camp in Thailand was crucial for bonding and training,' he noted. As the team prepares for the Durand Cup, Luna highlighted their tactical framework and his role as an attacking midfielder.

Having played in various countries, Luna has adapted well to life in Kerala. 'I feel the affection from the people, and I am in love with the state and our stadium. Playing there is amazing,' he added.
