However, the second half saw a lack of clear chances, despite the team's evident intentions.

Van Persie vowed to work on these issues before their next game against FC Utrecht. "With this style of play, I can't promise victories every match, but in terms of intensity and quality, this is the football I believe in. We aim to demonstrate this every week," he asserted. The 41-year-old former Dutch international, who joined Heerenveen's coaching staff after a stint at Feyenoord, looks ahead to their first home match of the season with optimism.
