Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has lauded the sportsmanship exhibited by Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra and Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem, following their outstanding performances at the Paris Olympics.

Nadeem clinched the gold medal with a record-breaking 92.97m throw, while Chopra secured the silver with a season-best 89.45m. Despite their fierce competition, the athletes were seen sharing a warm camaraderie, something Singh highlighted as a testament to sport's power to transcend borders.

However, Harbhajan also expressed disappointment over Vinesh Phogat's disqualification from the 50kg gold-medal bout due to being 100 grams overweight. He emphasized the challenges athletes face and voiced support for Phogat during her difficult period.
