Manchester United defender Leny Yoro will be sidelined for approximately three months following a successful surgery to address his recent foot injury, the Premier League club announced on Monday.

The French 18-year-old, who was substituted early in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in Los Angeles along with forward Rasmus Hojlund, is gearing up for a challenging rehabilitation process.

Yoro, who was signed from Ligue 1 side Lille in July on a five-year contract, is set to begin his rehabilitation immediately with the club eagerly anticipating his return to full fitness.
