In a landmark achievement at the Paris Olympics, Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh clinched a bronze medal in the 10M Air Pistol Mixed Team event. This accomplishment makes Bhaker the first Indian to win two medals at a single Olympics, adding a new chapter to India's sporting history.

Bhaker and Singh defeated South Korea's Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin with a score of 16-10 in the bronze medal playoff, boosting India's medal tally to two. Consistent shooting from both participants marked their path to victory, with regular scores of 10s against their Korean counterparts.

Coach Abhishek Rana expressed his pride in the duo, attributing their success to hard work, dedication, and a balanced mindset. Rana emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and following processes, ensuring that results follow. The win also marked a personal milestone for Rana, as Sarabjot was his first student.

In the qualification round, Bhaker and Singh scored 580-20x to finish third. The gold medal contest will take place between Turkiye and Serbia. Qualification involved 30 shots per member in 30 minutes, with the top four teams advancing to medal rounds.

Bhaker and Singh's final combined score reflected consistent high performance, setting the stage for their historic win.
