India's shooting campaign at the Paris Olympics 2024 received a significant boost as the pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh clinched third place in the 10 m air pistol mixed team qualification round on Monday, securing a spot in the bronze medal match.
Bhaker and Singh amassed a total of 580-20x points, placing them third. They will compete against South Korea, which finished fourth with 579-18x points. Meanwhile, the gold medal match will feature Turkiye, with 582-18x points, facing Serbia, which scored 581-24x points.
Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema, another Indian duo, finished in the 10th spot, thus missing out on a spot in the medal match.
