Belgium's Remco Evenepoel added an Olympic gold to his world title by clinching victory in the men's individual time trial at the Paris Games on Saturday.
The 24-year-old clocked 36 minutes and 12.16 seconds over the 32.4km course in driving rain, defeating Italian Filippo Ganna by 14.92 seconds.
Fellow Belgian Wout van Aert took bronze, while Britain's Josh Tarling finished fourth after suffering an early puncture.
