In a significant move, Turkish club Fenerbahce has signed Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, as reported on Thursday. En-Nesyri has committed to a five-year contract, and the club has reportedly paid a record-breaking fee of 20 million euros ($21.70 million), exceeding their prior highest fee of 15 million euros for Cenzig Under.

The 27-year-old forward has had a fruitful career in Spain, joining Sevilla from Leganes in 2020. He boasts an impressive record of 51 goals in 143 LaLiga matches and has played a crucial role in helping Sevilla secure two Europa League titles. On the international stage, En-Nesyri has scored 20 goals in 73 matches for Morocco and has participated in four African Cup of Nations tournaments.

Fenerbahce, who finished as runners-up in the previous season's Turkish Super Lig, are managed by the renowned Jose Mourinho. The exchange rate at the time of the transfer was $1 = 0.9217 euros.
