The Indian challenge at the Dutch Ladies Open came to an early end as Vani Kapoor, Tvesa Malik, and Ridhima Dilawari missed the 36-hole cut in the last Ladies European Tour event ahead of the Paris Olympics.

Vani Kapoor, who had a promising start with a 2-under 70 in the first round, dropped to 4-over 76, missing the cut by one shot. She finished at 2-over while the cut was at 1-over. Tvesa Malik and Ridhima Dilawari also fell short, with scores of 73-80 and 73-75 respectively.

The next LET event is the Women's Scottish Open, scheduled a week after the Olympics, followed by the AIG Women's Open in late August.

Swiss star Kim Metraux extended her lead with an impressive 5-under 67 on the second day. Metraux, searching for her first LET victory, initially led with a round of 65 (-7). Despite early bogeys, she found her rhythm again to finish the day at 12-under-par, five strokes ahead.

England's Liz Young and Singapore's Shannon Tan share second place at seven-under-par after strong performances. Germany's Laura Funfstuck and Czechia's Jana Melichova are close behind at six-under. The cut was set at +1, with 68 players advancing to the final day.
