Narang, a 2012 London Olympics bronze medallist, stated that the Indian men's hockey team would join them on Saturday from the Netherlands. He assured that the initial arrangements in the village are satisfactory, with athletes gradually acclimating.
Expressing gratitude to the Indian Olympic Association for his appointment, Narang highlighted the importance of his role. He emphasized the strong Indian contingent of 117 athletes preparing to compete across 20 disciplines from July 26 to August 11.
