Shivam Dube's All-Round Performance Propels India to Victory Over Zimbabwe

India all-rounder Shivam Dube expressed immense satisfaction following his all-round contributions in the fifth T20I against Zimbabwe. Dube played a crucial role, scoring 26 runs off 12 deliveries and securing two wickets in his four-over spell.

In his post-match remarks, Dube mentioned his delight at taking wickets in the second inning and highlighted the enjoyable atmosphere at the expansive Harare ground. 'It's always special to contribute in both departments. Took some wickets, very happy. In T20s, you can struggle but one shot and you can get back. The ground is big, we enjoy playing here, the atmosphere and the people are amazing,' he remarked.

Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to field, initially having India on the back foot at 40/3. However, a 65-run partnership between Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag, along with Dube's quickfire 26, took India to a challenging 167/6. Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarbani impressed with 2/19. Despite a strong start in their chase, Zimbabwe fell short at 125, thanks to pivotal spells by Shivam Dube and Mukesh Kumar's 4/22. Dube was awarded 'Player of the Match', while Washington Sundar took home the 'Player of the Series' for his all-round performance throughout the series.
