Anahat Singh, Shaurya Bawa Advance in World Junior Squash Championships
India's Anahat Singh and Shaurya Bawa have progressed to the fourth round of the World Junior Squash Championships in Houston. Anahat will face Japan's Akari Midorikawa, while Shaurya will compete against Argentina's Segundo Portabales. Several other Indian players faced mixed results in the earlier rounds.

India's Anahat Singh and Shaurya Bawa have successfully advanced to the fourth round of the World Junior Squash Championships in Houston.
Reigning women's national champion Anahat Singh triumphed over Samantha Jaffe of the US, winning 11-7, 12-10, 11-6 in the third round. She is set to clash with Japan's Akari Midorikawa in the quarterfinals.
Shaurya Bawa, meanwhile, staged a commendable rally to defeat USA's Rustin Wiser 4-11, 11-7, 12-10, 11-6. He will face Segundo Portabales of Argentina in the pre-quarterfinals.
Other Indian participants had mixed results: Yuvraj Wadhwani lost to Ecuador's Javier Emilio Romo Lopez after a fierce battle, ending 11-8, 6-11, 11-7, 8-11, 6-11. In the second round, Ayaan Vaziralli, Arihant KS, and Avalokit Singh also faced defeats in their respective matches.
In the girls' category, Tiana Parasrampuria was defeated by France's Lauren Baltayan 5-11, 3-11, 3-11 in the third round.
