In a compelling match, De Groot overcame compatriot Aniek van Koot 6-4, 6-4 on Court No. 1, sealing her victory with a backhand service return. This latest win extends De Groot's record streak of consecutive major titles and boosts her overall tally to 23, setting another record.

Since winning her first Wimbledon title seven years ago, the 27-year-old has seen support for wheelchair tennis grow significantly. "Playing on Court 1 with the crowd cheering us on was a testament to how far we've come," she described.
