Tiger kills woman in Chandrapur forest

A 35-year-old woman, Vanita Uike, was fatally attacked by a tiger while gathering tendu leaves in the Kitali Mendha forest range in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district.

A woman was killed by a tiger in a forested area in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, officials said on Wednesday.

The deceased, identified as Vanita Uike, was gathering tendu leaves when she was attacked on Tuesday morning under the Kitali Mendha forest range.
