Recove Ventures and Maharashtra Government Forge 10-Year Recycling Partnership
Recove Ventures has partnered with the Maharashtra government on a 10-year initiative to foster a circular manufacturing ecosystem, investing Rs 500 crore. The first phase focuses on a recycling plant in Jalgaon, expected to generate significant employment and process vast amounts of plastic waste.
Recove Ventures has entered into a landmark 10-year deal with the Maharashtra government to revolutionize the recycling industry in the region. This agreement will lay the foundation for a large-scale circular manufacturing ecosystem, with an investment of Rs 500 crore on the horizon.
The first phase of this transformative project will see the establishment of an advanced HDPE and PP recycling facility in Additional Jalgaon MIDC, a priority industrial zone. The facility, which represents a Rs 35 crore investment, is anticipated to process 1,100 tonnes of plastic waste monthly, with operations commencing by the end of 2026.
This ambitious partnership promises to generate 100 direct jobs and over 1,500 indirect roles, turning post-consumer plastic waste into industrial-grade raw material. With the state's solid government support and market access, the project is set to make significant strides in sustainable waste management.
