Sharma's Mission for Model Jaipur: Urban Renewal on Fast Track

Rajasthan's Chief Minister, Bhajanlal Sharma, convened a high-level meeting to expedite urban development projects across the state, especially in Jaipur. He underscored the importance of timely and efficient execution to enhance city infrastructure.
The Chief Minister stressed improving traffic flow by making Jaipur intersections signal-free and closing unnecessary road cuts. Strict measures against encroachments and the development of organized parking systems were also discussed to mitigate city congestion.
Sharma directed an urgent focus on pre-monsoon preparations, such as drain cleaning and sewer system strengthening, to prevent waterlogging. The goal is to transform Jaipur into a model city through robust project implementation, he stated.
