Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for North India's first semiconductor unit in Gautam Buddh Nagar. This marks a significant step in the state's high-tech manufacturing ambitions.
The Chief Minister also revealed that Modi will inaugurate the remaining sections of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor and the Meerut Metro. These developments are set to transform regional transport, reducing travel time drastically between key cities.
Highlighting past connectivity challenges, Adityanath noted significant improvements in infrastructure, stating Uttar Pradesh now leads in expressway networks and railway connectivity, with expansions in airports and inland waterways. These advances position the state as a major logistics and connectivity hub.
